Each year, United Way of Mid-Maine recruits and trains Loaned Executives who are the backbone of the annual campaign. They are the “voice” of United Way in the workplace. By allowing one of your dedicated employees to become a Loaned Executive, you will demonstrate how your company supports the mid-Maine community, while providing the United Way of Mid-Maine with some much needed support.
Training takes place in late August and the executive is on the job for United Way until the beginning of December. It is a big commitment for a business but it is also fantastic recognition of your business leadership role across our entire area. It is a tremendous gift to the United Way and a uniquely visible public relations opportunity for a local business. For the loaned executive and the business it is a priceless professional development experience. The participating executive receives training from a professional public speaking and marketing coach, visits many local non-profit human services agencies, and then speaks with employees and staff from businesses and organizations all across our area.
Best of all our entire community benefits from your business’s philanthropic impulse and the loaned executive’s ability to inspire individuals to give and live smarter, healthier, stronger lives.
Please consider this opportunity. Our community is ready, are you?
