Mission: United Way of Mid-Maine's mission is to improve people's lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities.

Vision:  To create a culture of caring and action to improve the lives of others. 

Values:  Caring, Inclusiveness, Integrity, Respect, Creating Impact and Collaboration.  

Guiding Principles:  The residents of mid-Maine have their basic needs met, are safe, warm, clothed, and are food secure; are financially stable and financially literate; are ready for school, ready for work, ready for parenting, ready for life; and have access to quality health care, dental care, mental health care and personal wellness.

Our charge is to effectively advance the common good, with a focus on basic human needs, education, income, and health by raising the funds necessary to do so.
