United Way of Mid-Maine (UWMM) is accepting proposals for completion of our 2010 Community Need Assessment.  The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to provide a fair evaluation for all candidates that express an ability and interest in conducting the local community assessment in partnership with United Way of Mid-Maine staff and volunteers.  The assessment will focus on the following:

   ·         Understanding the local environment

   ·         Identifying and evaluating local community strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks

   ·         Identifying the most pressing community needs; comparing and contrasting those needs with current UWMM identified community impact areas and goals.

   ·         Capturing the local needs with regard to national level goals and indicators

This is an open and competitive process.  Proposals are due no later than 12:00 pm/noon EST, Friday, August 13, 2010.  Applications may be downloaded here (click on image at right).
